 It's still February, we shouldn't start thinking about spring yet.

Sad News

 The Christchurch Cathedral was damaged in the quake. 

Building began in 1864 and finished in 1904.  It is such a magnificent building and it's such a shame that this piece of history was destroyed.

No No Nannette

The Lady of the House went to see an amateur production of "No, No, Nannette", so I wasn't surprised to hear her humming the music the following day.  She saw me smiling.  "Yes, I know it's an old fashioned show," she said "but I still think these words are as relevant now as they ever were.  I want to be happy, but I can't be happy, till I make you happy too! is such a true sentiment.  Bringing happiness to those we love is surely one of the greatest pleasures we ever experience.
