It is a slug. In the wet parts of the Pacific Northwest we have giant slugs. I wish I would have put something down for scale but normally they are probably the size of a small hot dog. I'll post one where it was crawling up the side of the bank and was stretched out.
Whatever is that strange creature? A slug or a lizard? New to me.
