We often wonder whether we've done the right thing, don't we? "Should we give up?" we ask ourselves when things begin to get difficult. But patience and persistence are always rewarded. The light at the end of the tunnel is always that much brighter for the effort we have made. William Fales expressed it thus:
And led by loving hands, and voice of love,
I swiftly scaled the mountainside above
The gloom and shadow, till the sunlit skies
Around me broke revealing Paradise.
